Tan Brown Granite Description

We just had a tan brown Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top installed and (http://maplered.com) we were given the wrong sealer by the installer (who we never want to see again).  We have been rubbing it off with a white terry cloth but I used a green hard pad on a part and (http://maplered.com) now have a dull mark about the size of a quarter on a part of the surface.  We have tried everything to shine this spot up with no success. Do we have to get a professional in or is there something we can do? We do not trust the sales people or the installer after all their mistakes.
